- It’s been ten years since Bethesda launched the infamous Horse Armor DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on Xbox 360 for 200 Microsoft Points, or $2.50. From the moment it was announced, the cosmetic DLC was criticized for being too expensive, lazy and inconsequential.

(VERY) Small fix to keep the DLC's AI packages and the visual revamp of OCO v2. Very easy TES4Edit fix but since some people don't know how I decided to upload it. Load order example. Horse Armor is a downloadable content (DLC) package containing armor that could be placed on a player’s horse for the Xbox 360 release of the game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. After being heavily mocked by the gaming community, the term “horse armor” became associated with useless and overpriced DLC packages.
The major reason I didn't contact it apart from the fact it's ugly had been because I has been fairly particular I read through in a preview prior to release that horse armor would end up being in the sport directly off the softball bat. But then it's launched and I find out later on they're delivering it as an addon. Right now probably I simply thought that entire preview and it had been never pointed out that horse armor would be in the base video game, but if I'michael appropriate - and I like to think I are - well I'm not fond of having to pay for things that I had been told had been meant to become in the video game already.
